Nintendo joining in on the game console price cuts.

So it’s here, Nintendo, with it’s WII console sales declining, is finally cutting it’s price tomorrow (September 27) by 20% from $249 to $199.

This comes after Sony recently unveiled the PS3 slim $100 lower than the PS3 and Microsoft cutting the Xbox 360 elite also by $100.

Guess, my holding out for a new console finally paid off :)

more details from CNN

edit: So we actually bought a WII and my kids are having a blast with it. Me think I need a new console..erm…blu-ray player though.

Yeah…Actually felt bad I bought PSP 3000 the last time I went to S’pore. I bought it at a package deal of Php16,500 (around Usd350). Including three UMD games: Need for Speed Prostreet, NBA 2009 and the The Sims. And looking at it’s value now in the market, can’t help but feel a shrinking sensation in my heart. bummer. :(
